Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Seyed Hamid Jazayeri, the scientific secretary of the 25th seminary Book of the Year, in an interview with Hawzah News correspondent on Tuesday, February 6, stated,” The conference of the seminary Book of the Year is the most important research event of the seminary.”

The professor of Qom seminary added,” Alhamdulillah, about two thousand works reached the 25th festival, but in the evaluation process, about fifty works were worthy of praise, commended or selected, and perhaps the main reason for this difference was the strictness of the secretariat in selecting commendable books.”

He continued,” In addition to the initial taxonomy, an initial summary evaluation, three detailed evaluations, the plan in the scientific council of the group, in addition to that, a number of works were refined in the scientific council of the secretariat, and the emphasis of the secretariat was more on the issue of quality. The qualitative dimension of the works should be given more attention, the evaluations should be stricter because our expectation from the seminary research is perhaps stricter than similar centers.”

Referring to the plans made for the 26th edition, the scientific secretary of the annual book conference of the seminary said, "Planning has been done in this regard, and God willing, we will activate the site from the first of March; Therefore, in the twenty-sixth period, the works produced this year are being presented.”

Hujjat al-Islam Jazayeri, referring to the prominent role of female students, said,” Thank God, women played an active role in the 25th edition of the conference, and there were about 300 works by women, and five of them were honored, a 30% increase compared to the previous year.”
